Timtim is an explorer and an adventurer, happy to serve his people: the Reefkin. He's good at a lot of things, but his greatest asset is his endless optimism. Faced with the horrors of the Reef, monsters, death, destruction, he can always see the bright side. He thinks everything will be fine.

And while it is, generally, fine for him specifically -- the almost magical consistency of his good luck is not shared by those around him. They tend to be injured or perish. The notable exception has been Gix -- whose extreme pessimism appears to be as good a shield as Timtim's great optimism.

Timtim has fought monsters, brought back a golden carp for his Ancient, and explored innumerable wrecks, caves, and islands.

Timtim's steed, Click Clack, is a special breed of crab -- which live only on a single island. The met when Timtim was shipwrecked on the island.
