While most of the elves of the Azure Tower are wizards and wizards-in-training, Naevys is a ranger. She loves the frozen expanse, the wildlife, and the humans who survive in the lands around the Azure Tower.

Her companion, the osprey Zelaq, bonded with Naevys after the bird’s human master perished. It is due to Naevys that a cozy human village sprang up at the base of the Azure Tower and continues to thrive. Several human children in the village are named after her.
