Professor Ardasi was born and grew up in Izmatra - the largest metropolis controlled by the Shara'zar. He's a great fighter, commanding celestial magic and calling down stars on his enemies. He prefers to study and teach at the great university in his home city, but is a willing hero when duty calls.

Late in life he met and married Durra, his true love. Ardasi is a refined gentleman. He likes things done properly, and has little patience for pomposity and airs, or for bullies and ruffians. He doesn't especially like traveling or roughing it, but he won't complain either. He's steady and wise.
